PSHE workshops for primary schools
Drama gives children a safe way to talk about feelings, friendships and how we treat each other. In our PSHE workshops pupils explore everyday situations through role play and discussion, try out different responses and think about how other people might feel. Because they are playing a character rather than talking about themselves, children who would normally stay quiet often have plenty to say.
Topics we cover
- Friendships and getting on with others
- Recognising and managing emotions
- Bullying, and what to do if it happens
- Teamwork and working together
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Body language and how we come across to others
Our workshops support your Relationships Education and Health Education teaching, and we can shape a session around something your school is focusing on, such as Anti-Bullying Week.
Planning your session
- Length: sessions run for 1 to 2 hours.
- Group size: anything from a small group of 10 up to two form groups at once.
We will agree the details with you when you book, so the session fits your timetable and your pupils.
As with all of our drama workshops, we work hard to create a nurturing space where pupils feel comfortable sharing their opinions and asking questions of themselves and each other.
